WORKSTATION
REPAIR
We have extensive experience with repairing
Workstations or installing new ones. Whether it be that you
need a network card installed to an older workstation to make
it functional on the network or you need a damaged one replaced
or even need to make additions to a workstation for it to serve
a new purpose it is no problem for us at all. We understand
that many of the new PCs no longer come with Serial ports and
in many cases this is what is needed to be able to install an
employee time clock or some other such device that relies upon
a serial port to be able to communicate with the PC and the
software that is to be installed on it for controlling these
kinds of devices. We have no problem installing these kinds of
legacy devices along with the time clock and software that is
to be installed at the place of business for the first time
since we've done this a number of times already for our
customers.
Computers are like all other devices in the sense
that they have pieces with moving parts and therefore those
parts eventually break in some way or another. At times hard
drives go bad requiring a new one and a reinstallation of the
Operating system, software, and data that was previously found
there. Although we would have no trouble with this type of work
we do like to helpfully inform our customers that the data
found on PCs is in many cases as important as what is kept on
network shares and therefore should be properly backed up. This
may not require an “Online” backup such as those we offer
through our partner DocuGreen, but we
certainly can and would be more than happy to suggest a
solution to this type of problem and the cost involved in such.
Whatever the end decision though, you can be certain that the
workstation will be repaired to its previous operating state if
at all possible and if not a sensible solution will be
offered.
